This sample ‘Learning Log’ SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) resource, Be Brave, was developed for grades 3,4 &/or 5 classes for a school with an environmental and entrepreneurial focus. These resources change with the nature of the school and community. Teachers and administrators who are interested in developing their own Learning Logs can use the WORD templates as part of a professional development process whereby teachers are encouraged to become curriculum designers and develop customized booklets for their students. I’ve been involved in different schools that emphasize different niches such as global studies, the arts, leadership, and religious studies which were then embedding in the lessons along with unique geographical and local features.
