Item description

Cryptograms are coded messages that use numbers (or other objects) in place of letters. You must then determine the cipher which means which number stands for which letter. Once you have determined this you can solve the code. Very complex ones are used by our military but these can also be used for enrichment and to exercise the brain. This packet gets students started on how to solve cryptograms including strategies and examples for them to work on.
