Welcome ! I'm Angela Stockman, the author of three books: Make Writing: 5 Teaching Strategies that Turn Writers' Workshop into a Makerspace, Hacking the Writing Workshop: Redesign with Making in Mind, and Hacking School Culture: Creating Compassionate Classrooms, all published by Times 10 Publications.

I began my career in education at the elementary level before teaching high school English, and then finally, middle school English Language Arts, remedial reading, and remedial writing. During my tenure, I was named a Christa McAuliffe Fellow and received a citation for excellence in the field by the New York State Department of Education. Fifteen years ago, I became a literacy consultant and began teaching at the graduate level. In recent years, I've worked with schools throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia.
