I'm Mark Cheverton. I taught Physics and Mathematics in public high school for 15 years, teaching in California, Maryland and New York. After teaching, I went into industry, working as a Research Physics for General Electric for another 15 years. While working for GE, I started writing novels for middle-grade kids. My first four novels were catastrophic failures, but my fifth book, my 1st Minecraft novel, was a huge success. My books are published in 31 countries, translated into 19 languages and there's almost 2 million copies in print. They've been on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller's list. Now, I write full-time and am currently working on my 25th novel. When I'm not writing, I'm working with kids, trying to get them excited about writing through Skyping with classes (ask me what I did with NaNoWriMo last year).
