In conjunction with the author of the juvenile non-fiction book, Bulu: African Wonder Dog, this is a multidisciplinary lesson workbook. It is a four week interdisciplinary lesson involving English-Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science, with some supplemental materials for mathematics, art, and music. The author, Dick Houston, was more than willing to offer photos, DVD, and other materials I needed to create a workbook that would be beneficial to both teachers and students.
