To teach students the concept of supply and demand, students must sell and buy goods. Some of these goods are deemed high supply and low demand while others are low supply and high demand. Students work in groups, representing a country with specific goods, and must figure out which strategy will work best for the goods their country specializes in. Through three rounds of trading there will not be enough supplies to go around to all countries. Only those countries who wisely bought and sold will end up with the requisite number of goods needed.
